SES has been designing and manufacturing electrical equipment for the entertainment industry for over 20 years. From small portable distros to 2000A mains assemblies and from cables to permanently installed panels, SES are at the forefront of power distribution and have produced equipment that has been used on most of the biggest music tours and sport events worldwide.

Our equipment is used to provide power for lighting, sound, AV, heating and cooling. The experience that SES have, has given them the ability to provide technical help to our customers over the years and the decision has now been made that SES are in the position to pass this information to professionals in the industry in a more formal manner.

Collaborating with Ascot College of Electrical Studies (ACES), the SES Academy has developed a range of courses specifically aimed at the entertainment industry. ACES are a City & Guilds approved training provider and already provide a number of standard and bespoke courses, but with the emphasis on the entertainment industry SES have jointly developed new courses which will provide qualifications to freelancers, technicians and management alike.

The courses which are listed on this website have been designed by qualified electricians. To secure your place on one of the courses you will be asked to pay £100 non-refunable deposit, with full payment being due seven days before the course is due to start. The prices listed are inclusive of registration and exam fees, an acreddited certificate and lunch (if the course is being taught at one of our approved centres)
